Core Values

1. Intimacy with God

Constant communication with Jesus must be maintained if we are to have a relationship with Him. God is the source of our identity, strength, joy, guidance, ministry, and more. (John 15:4-8, Acts 2:42, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

2. Bible based Ministry

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and we are committed to communicating its life-transforming message in a relevant, authentic, life-changing way. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, James 1:23-25, Hebrews 4:12, Acts 2:42)

3. Wholehearted Worship

We are to bring glory and honor to God in everything we do. This is why we exist. (Matthew 22:37, Acts 2:43 & 47, Colossians 1:10-14, 1 Timothy 4:15-16, 2 Timothy 3:12-15, Ephesians 5:1-2, Revelation 2:4)

4. Loving, Caring Relationships

A sense of belonging and care happens best in an environment of authentic relationships. Loving each other in unselfish ways is essential to being The Church; a body of believers. Loving relationships are our greatest testimony to unbelievers. (Acts 2:42-46, John 13:34-35; 15:12-13, Ephesians 4:25-32, Hebrews 12:1, 1 Corinthians 13, 1 John 4:7-8, 11, & 20-21, Nehemiah 3)

5. Spirit Directed Ministry

All work of The Church is at the direction of the Holy Spirit and He gives us the power to accomplish these ministries. Every believer has been given spiritual gifts by God which are intended to be used to build up the Body of Christ and reach out to unbelievers. (Ephesians 4:11-16, Romans 12:1-8, 1 Corinthians 12, 1 Peter 4:10)

6. Equipping our Congregation for Ministry

One role of church leadership is to help Believers use and develop their gifts and talents to serve our church, our community, and the world. Healthy churches are led by those who are hearing and obeying the Holy Spirit. Leaders should make disciples by developing new leaders. (Acts 6:3-4 & 7, Ephesians 4:11-16, Romans 12:8, 1 Timothy 3, 1 Peter 5:1-3, Hebrews 13:17)

7. Evangelism and Outward Focus

All people matter to God, and therefore, matter to us. The great task of the church is to share the good news of the gospel with our unbelieving friends, family, neighborhoods, cities, nation, and the world. We will pray for, love, and boldly tell others about the life-transforming message of Jesus. (Acts 2:45-47, Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, Romans 1:16 & 5-8)

8. Strong Families

We desire to help families be a place of support, encouragement, safety, protection, and prayer. God desires homes where following Jesus is modeled and taught and where loving marriages are modeled for the children. Strong families have godly boundaries and reproduce the love of Christ. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9, Joshua 24:14, Psalm 34:11 & 113:9, Proverbs 17:6, Ephesians 5:22-23 & 6:1-4, NKJV)
